What is the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program?
The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a Pennsylvania state grant program that provides funding for regional economic, cultural, civic, and historical improvement projects. The program supports projects that promote job creation and economic growth in Pennsylvania by providing financial assistance for construction activities related to the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.
The program is designed to support projects that create a significant, measurable economic impact in Pennsylvania and attract private investment in the region. RACP grants are awarded on a competitive basis, and projects must demonstrate a clear public purpose, a strong economic impact, and a commitment to private investment.
The program is administered by the Office of the Budget and is overseen by the Governor’s Budget Office.
